“It’s too hard to create a new idea for my next creative project…I’m just not creative at all”
“I’m too scared about what other people will think of my work – is it good enough?”
“I don’t know where to start…I have no ideas at all Ms. Madeline. Can you help me?”
“I don’t know which idea I should test out first”
These are some of the many things my students say when they are producing their next creative project (creative writing, ebooks). You got some of these same annoying creative blocks that you can’t seem to get rid of? Don’t worry, I got you my buzzing creative!
You may be in these very similar situations:
You are currently working on your next project to keep up with the consistent effort of producing your projects. However, you are completely STUCK on the next idea. You don’t know where to start and you’ve been staring at the blank wall and computer screen for an hour now. Stress and overwhelm begins to consume you. You are in the same cycle of negative thinking.
You are working on your dream project but have so many ideas you want to play around with and you don’t know which one to create first! There are way too many things to try and ideally, you would love to try it all – but you know that realistically, you should be working on one project because you know this will enable you to produce the best results.
I’ve been in both situations and so have my students. Nowadays, I’ve only managed to slip into the second situation because I’ve learned how the very nature of what it means to be creative. Whenever I slip into the second situation, I perform the exercises in the workbook to enable me to become less worried about the number of ideas I have and put the best idea to the test!
You may think of a creative as someone who is a:
>> Writer
>> Digital creative
>> Artist
>> Musician
>> Online Coach struggling to come up with content
>> A student trying to start their creative narrative to solely get good marks at school
BUT ULTIMATELY…
There are only TWO TYPES of people in this world:
>> Creatives who feel stuck in the creative process OR
>> Creatives who have yet to reconnect with their creative spirit in their daily life
By the end of this workbook you will:
>> Enhance the visualisation process
>> Gain an excessive flow of ideas to bring your dream ideas into life
>> Find joy in the creative process and manifest your dream project to life with ease
The following exercises and journal prompts address these three golden pillars of the creative process
THOUGHTS & IDEAS
How should you approach your ideas? We get specific on the details of your planning process using the creativity cascade.
THE VISUALISATION PROCESS
The quality of your creative work is reflective of how well you navigate your creative process. This means being able to visualise and bringing those ideas in your mind to life using creative visualisation and personal visualisation exercises to expand the way you think.
ENERGY & THE INSPIRED ACTION COMPONENT
Get inspired about the ideas that you’re about to bring to life because let’s face it, we create in the best flow when we feel intrinsically motivated to do so. We stop procrastinating and letting fear win over us when we are reminded of our why.
Applying the creativity cascade to my creations;
>> I notice what is happening internally and externally and how I can use the experiences of my daily life to create meaningful creations
>> I ask myself why do this at all to drive me to take action
>> I consistently take messy inspired action
>> I always reflect on my creative process and omit anything that is unnecessary and add important details that can make my creative project more exciting.

The Art of Journalling for Creativity & Productivity
The last section of the workbook is to show you the golden method of journalling for being creative and productive. The 11 journal prompts will help you clear mental blocks that are preventing you from getting into a state of creative mode. We create your dream project from mind to matter.
“A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life. Living in this manner–continuously and stubbornly bringing for the jewels that are hidden within you–is a fine art, in and of itself.”
– ELIZABETH GILBERT
Understanding the creativity cascade will make you aware which part of the creative process you are at.
I’ve been using this Creativity Cascade for 3 years with my students and it has never failed them to bring their ideas to life. Whenever they felt stuck on their next idea for their creative projects and lost with which ideas to choose, they referred back to the exercises in this workbook.
